The other tower
This is not the expressway tower. Umuahia Tower is a roundabout column inside the town, set in a paved circle among shops, keke, and the everyday traffic of the capital.
The shaft in these photographs carries the line This is God’s Own State above a painted figure. It is a newer face of a familiar junction: a piece of street art the city now uses as a meeting point.
